This fic is a variation on the original hurt!Mycroft fic I wanted to write but couldn't figure out how to make work and OMG! how I loved writing it. Even though it was Hell. And did actually break my heart. More than once.

For those of you not familiar with that fic the art will probably be a bit confusing. XD This is also a rec btw, so go read it! It has kid!Sherlock and teen!Mycroft falling in love for the first time (not with each other, obviously LOL). It is glorious! I haven't seen His Last Vow yet but if it's as bad as I suspect, this fic would be the perfect antidote! (the fic is rated Mature on AO3 for some lovely first times and HOT dirtytalk between Mycroft and Lestrade)

Sherlock is a terror of a kid in this fic and is dubbed the goblin king. Even if you don't ship Lestrade/Mycroft the Mycroft-Sherlock interactions are worth it alone...
