Title: now you're beside me (and look how far we've come)
Author:
queenfanfiction
Pairing(s): Sherlock/Irene
Rating: PG
Warnings: Spoilers for "A Scandal In Belgravia," and interpretations of Irene's character in the same vein, but with much less nudity. (Unfortunately.)
Summary: It takes Irene a trip through the continent to accept that, while she may be the only woman to have beaten Sherlock Holmes, he is still the only man to have ever made her beg. But maybe this isn't a bad thing.
Disclaimer: #NotIntendedToBeAFactualStatement
Where Credit Is Due: Title comes from the lyrics of "So Close" (sung here by John Barrowman and Jodie Prenger) from the movie "Enchanted (2007)." Beta'ed by the awesome
