More mapmaking ...

I have a lot of work to do to post all the photos (so far) taken of Sherlock locations in central London. This is about half of them, when America catches up the real nightmare begins. I also MIGHT have some from another as yet secret location if all goes to plan for the half term hols. BF
garienos is learning that, like John, if he comes with me and is helpful when I do this he gets fed.

This is a small version of the map I am working from at the moment. Click on it for a bigger look, I will do smaller maps as I cover each area with pictures.
This shows how they have 'grouped' their filming sessions around certain areas. I was trying to work out why (1) was around as it was actually S2 (everything else is S1) and then I realised it drops off the bottom of the Barts and [spoiler spoiler] locations used in S2.
S1 was a lot heavier location-wise than S2 (the Blind Banker episode is an ongoing nightmare for me right now). I think the production team got wise to how much work they were involved in and cut things down a little for the second series.
(1) is where Irene texted Merry Christmas to Sherlock in Scandal
(2) is where Sherlock both jumped over the barrier and gave a £50 note to one of his homeless network in the Great Game.
(3) is the body dump actually on the bank of the Thames from The Great Game. Lovely location to visit at Low Tide.
(4) Is the graffiti area under the Hayward Gallery from the Blind Banker
(5) is the Jubilee Bridge also used in that episode
(6) Is Trafalgar Square; ditto
(7) Where a taxi passes through in that episode on the way to the West Kensington Library (not really from the location they used, but ...)
