I have to admit that I'm not one for podfic, simply because I love to read for myself and letting the words flow as they would for me and not with someone else's intonation. But I am loving using you podfic as a rec list, so thank you very much for that.

Maybe at some point I'll come back and listen to your recordings too. You made me read Sherlock, which has filled a lovely bit of fandom need that I didn't know I had. Thank you. :D

See, that's the mad thing. I listen to audio books of published type things pretty much every day. But because it's a thing I do to help fall asleep it doesn't translate so well to podfic because it would mean burning it to a CD until the point I get speakers for my iPod or something, and I just never get around to it. I do have one podfic (of an epic length fic), but I'm usually filling my listening to music quota when shopping, walking somewhere, whatever, so no fic and it languishes unlistened to on my iPod.

I also still like to read it all for myself first. It's just one of those things. *shrug* I'm glad it's self indulgence though, it's a good reason for doing it. :)
