Watson Birthday Prompt Fest

Description: Welcome to the Watson Birthday Prompt Fest! According to some sources, John Watson's birthday is August 7. So, lets celebrate it, by having a prompt fest!

Come over to the Ao3 collection and leave a prompt or claim a prompt. Open to all Sherlock Holmes related fandoms, and all genres, ratings, and relationships (ships, gen, etc). The main rule being that all fanworks should focus on our beloved Watson.

The goal is to have lots of fanworks to enjoy for Watson's birthday on August 7th

Sign-ups close on April 22nd! Assignments are sent out by April 30th! Gifts due by May 31st!

Holmestice is a pan-holmesian gift exchange that takes place twice a year on the summer and winter solstices. ALL Holmesian universes are welcome and encouraged! Yes, including Hound and the one where Watson is a robot. You sign up, are matched with someone, create a gift for them by May 31st, enjoy all the fantastic gifts posted to the community (art! fic! puppets! vids! moodboards!), guess who created what, and then get to see it all in the reveals!

This round we are allowing users to post on our AO3 community in addition or instead of the mods anonymously posting the works on Dreamwidth.

New Sherlock Flashfic Community

Sherlock Flashfiction is a community dedicated to inspiring and producing short (or not as short) Holmes fanfiction, art or vids. While the community was inspired by Sherlock BBC, we welcome works for all other versions of Holmes canon: book, movies, other TV shows. We also welcome het, slash, gen, other, etc, and a variety of styles and genres -- as long as the work is based on the current theme. New challenges will be posted every two weeks. Our first challenge begins soon!
